The discipline needed to write a story is necessary, so the person writing the story doesn't slack off or procrastinate. The discipline I'm going to start putting on myself is a heavy one, more work less procrastination. I do not always write at the same time of day but i do believe that a person should write when they are most comfortable. When a person is comfortable, they are more relaxed and less stressed about the work at hand. Maintaining a steady pace will help with reaching a goal. Rushing makes the work look sloppy, but taking your time makes you catch your mistakes and are less likely to make them. Sticking to a strict routine doesn't help all too much. If you stick to a routine, it'll make you feel less like working and won't do a good job on it as you should have.
I agree with your ideas, yet I beleive that you could have structured your ideas better, don't you agree?
ReplyDelete@Alexander Yes my ideas could have been structured better, but it all depends on who is reading it.
DeleteWell doing crack can also help you write a story, just ask Stephan King. Stress sometimes can help you write a story.
ReplyDelete@John King used the turmoil he was in to write in a way to ask for help and vent about his problems. In a sick twisted way it did give him inspiration, but at what cost?
DeleteI agree with wwhat you are saying.
ReplyDelete@Esiquiel What exactly do you agree with?
DeleteDo you think having discipline affects the writing of the person or it makes it more organized?
ReplyDelete@ Vanessa Well it all depends on the person. Being organized can allow a person space to think, allowing no distractions, while on the other hand being unorganized can allow ideas come from your environment. The things you see can spark inspiration for a good story.
